For nearly 30 years, we've been creating Life Changing Finish Lines™ in the Endurance sports world across the USA.
Below you'll find out: Who we help, what we do, our philosophy, how we got here, and who are team members are.
We help beginner and current race directors, race owners, coaches, and non-profit race owners build endurance events in their community. These folks have all the passion in improving the lives of those around them, but lack the structures, systems, teams, tools, and guidance on how to begin or get to the next level.
We help these race directors create Life Changing Finish Lines - Events that are fun, safe, and promote an athletic lifestyle for the athletes, their families, and their communities. We do this through our three training programs: Starter, Professional, and Legacy. Our programs aim to maximize client results through standardization, profits, and happiness. We help take the complexity, costs, and stress out of running endurance events.
"Life Changing Finish Lines" is the perfect balance between race standardization, monetization, and happiness. To achieve this balance, we follow a philosophy built on six core principles:
1. Quality - The experience of each athlete is the main thing.
2. Focus - To stay safe, keep the main thing the main thing.
3. Simplicity - Do more with less - work smart, not hard.
4. Discipline - Freedom comes from planning correctly.
5. Systematic - Keep what works & don't be afraid to adjust.
6. Joy - If it's not fun, you are doing it wrong.
Meet Steve
As a race owner and director for nearly 30 years, Steve has hosted over 1200 events across the United States. As founder of America Multi-Sport, he'd get up at 3 or 4am to get everything ready for the upcoming weekend events. After years of craziness and wearing too many hats, he realized it was time to teach his own team to do the work he'd been doing for so many years. It wasn't too long after, his team was marketing events, building race teams, securing sponsors, handling venues and vendors, and even taking the load off to produce super safe events.
What If?
From 2 races annually in 1994 to more than 45 in 2016 with thousands in attendance, there's been one major takeaway: having proven systems and processes produce amazing results and, in return, create 'Life Changing Finish Lines'. In 2021, the question was raised, "What if every race director had access to these best practices?".
The answer? "Those race directors would be empowered to host life changing events for their communities, while at the same time enjoying their lives, and providing for their families." At the end of the day, that's what we all want. We didn't get into this role to give ourselves more work than we can handle!
Providing Great Outcomes
We see the Endurance sports industry as a flow sequence. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. So as you work on things earlier in the process, you'll see a ripple effect as time goes on. As we work smarter during the planning stage, we'll see a higher return of purpose and profit as we come up to race day. Not only are we rewarded but so are those who participate in the event.
